Derek Distenfield co-founded GSD Venture Studios, a venture capital investment firm with a focus on helping new companies become global powerhouses. Through this company, Derek Distenfield launched Zemplee, eezy.ai, and other successful startups through the GSD Labs Accelerator program.

Mr. Distenfield is involved in multiple companies in a variety of administrative and investment capacities. As an investor and advisory board member with Block Studios in Silicon Valley, California, he helped bring the NFT marketplace Kudo.app to market. He also sits on the board of directors of the digital money transfer company MovoCash and invests in both the court reporting software company VoiceScript and the biotechnology company I2PURE.

As a member of the prestigious Forbes Business Council, Mr. Distenfield has contributed a number of articles to the digital arm of Forbes Magazine. These articles include “Four Tips for Finding, Pitching To, and Securing Investors” and “Five Simple Marketing Strategies for Your Startup.”
